I’m a total country music geek.
Apparently, I get this from my dad, although I don’t remember ever hearing him listen to music at all. My older sisters tell me he did like country, though, so we’ll blame him.
For a while, I thought it was just me who liked country.
Then I went to Country2Country because one of my fave country stars, Luke Bryan, was headlining. Let’s just say I wasn’t too impressed to discover that my guilty pleasure turned out belong to a whole lot of other people too!
(The highlight was Luke calling out to the massive audience asking where all his farmers were at… at a gig in London)
As well as Luke Bryan, I’m a particular fan of Brandy Clark and The Band Perry, and I just discovered The Highwomen.
Of course, I like Carrie Underwood too. I listened to The Champion as my pump-up song for a few weeks, on repeat, every journey I made.
There’s just something about this music that hits me with all the feels and makes me yearn for a Stetson, a horse and an open field…
Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing some research on that. And he actually bought me lunch as I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! “We have two ears and only one tongue in order that we may hear more and speak less.” by Laertius Diogenes.
Thank you for every other magnificent article. The place else may just anybody get that kind of info in such an ideal approach of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I’m at the search for such info.
