Do and believe that which moves you towards your goals.
I heard this quote on a podcast this week and it made such an impact on me, I pulled the car over and jotted it down. I believe it’s from Tom Bilyeu, co-founder of Quest Nutrition.
I loved it because we’re all familiar with the notion of doing what moves us towards our goals, but that other bit? Believing that which moves me towards my goals? That’s the kicker.
I’ve had this quote printed out so I can look at it each day.

PROJECT I’M WORKING ON:
Time Management for Writers, which has been such a rollercoaster of a ride. I made myself stop at 50,000 words. After planning to end it at 40k. I could easily have carried on writing and doubled the length, but I need to move on to final edits and wrap it all together.
It was a lot of fun to explore this topic I’ve been obsessed with for years and I really hope it helps people!

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…
SELF-CARE I’M PRIORITISING:
Time out in nature changes everything, and quicker than I’d ever anticipate. It’s pretty chilly here, and sometimes I need to wrap up with a scarf and hood, but I never, ever regret heading outside and taking a walk.
